The original Rocky Mountain brand made their last garments in the mid to late eighties and we are happy that the Japanese manufacturer 35 Summers Co gave new life to the brand in 2005.
The body of this jacket is made of nylon and and the filling is down, it has two large lower pockets with pocket flaps and the space behind the pockets serves as hand warmer pockets as well. Higher up you got two slanted chest pockets with zippers. A large back pocket and draw strings at the waist, around the hood and at the lower edge that can be used to wear it with a tighter fit. There are two inner pockets with zippers and a down filled hood that will ensure you stay warm. The jacket closes with a two way YKK zipper and brass snap buttons to make sure that the cold winds wont get through. The velcro at the cuffs can be used to tighten the opening. The jacket has the iconic yoke made of brown horsehide leather. If the weather turns nasty and wet the waterproof three layer nylon surface material will keep you dry.
